Unveiling of the second welcome pole carved by TEMOSEṈ Chazz Elliott
A ceremony to celebrate the unveiling of the second carved Salish Welcome Pole on the Agricultural Hall grounds, on National Indigenous Peoples Day (June 21st).
With a welcome from Elder J,SIṈTEN Dr John Elliot, words from artist TEMOSEṈ Chazz Elliott and MLA Adam Olsen, dance and song led by MENEŦIYE and the ȽÁU, WELṈEW̱ Tribal School youth dancers, and cake to share afterwards.
